Bangalore, India, 13th August 2012  Lourd Vijay’s Dance Studio & DKNY Presents the 7th India International Salsa Congress in association with Idea and Clarks Exotica Airport Hotel, Bangalore.

The exciting dance festival, with the new theme “Dance for Everyone” will take place from August 17th, 2012 to August 19th, 2012, at Clarks Exotica Airport Hotel, Bangalore. India International Salsa Congress is a perfect platform for salsa enthusiasts across the globe to come together and be a part of the biggest salsa carnival of the year.

Several international dancers like Alberto Romay, Mika Takanega, Tomas Guerrero, Daniel Enskat, Minoti Ramachandraand Tito Ortiz and Tamara Livolsi are participating in this year’s Congress. International salsa dancing school Santo Rico will be a part of the 7th IISC for the first time in August 2012.

The highlight of the India International Salsa Congress is the 7th World Salsa Championship Qualifiers – a golden opportunity to officially qualify for the World Salsa Championship 2013 at Hong Kong to represent India on a global platform & bag a prize money worth quarter million Hong Kong Dollar (HKD 250,000)!

The Congress boasts of over 100 International and National artists and instructors competing for the championship & presenting different dance styles like salsa, mambo, zouk, bachata, tango, flamenco, bollywood, and belly dancing.  Additionally, there are pool parties, dance workshops in different genres of dance also being organized through the three days at the venue, and the dance festival promises to be a fun extravaganza.
